These Terms govern your access to and use of restorationlocator.com (the “Site”), a free directory connecting homeowners with restoration service providers, operated by Restoration Locator (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

No Endorsement of Providers

Restoration Locator is a neutral directory. We do not own, operate, employ, recommend, endorse, or guarantee any listed contractors or their services. All providers operate independently.

You are solely responsible for your interactions, hiring decisions, due diligence (including verifying licenses, insurance, reviews), and any services obtained. We disclaim all liability for provider quality, safety, pricing, or outcomes.

Permitted Use

  • Allowed: Browsing listings, searching providers, contacting them directly.
  • Prohibited:
    • Posting false reviews or listings
    • Harassing providers or users
    • Scraping data without permission
    • Commercial use without consent
    • Violating laws or third-party rights

Intellectual Property

All Site content (design, text, logos) is owned by us or licensors. You receive no ownership rights. Limited personal, non-commercial use permitted.

Third-Party Links & Services

The Site links to external sites and providers. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Use at your own risk.

Accounts (If Applicable)

If registration is required:

  • Provide accurate information.
  • Keep login secure.
  • Notify us of unauthorized use.
  • You are liable for all account activity.

We may suspend/terminate accounts for violations.

User Content

Any submissions (reviews, inquiries):

  • Must be accurate and non-defamatory.
  • You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access anytime, with or without notice, for any reason.

You may stop using the Site anytime.

Provisions that survive termination (e.g., disclaimers, liability limits) remain effective.

Disclaimers

AS IS BASIS. The Site and all content provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind—express, implied, or statutory—including merchantability, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific results from using the directory.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • No liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Total liability capped at $100 (or actual amount paid, if any).
  • No liability for provider actions or services.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Site, violations of these Terms, or interactions with providers.

Governing Law & Disputes

Governed by Colorado law (excluding conflict rules).

Any disputes resolved exclusively in state or federal courts in Broomfield County, Colorado. You consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes posted here with 30 days’ notice. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement: These Terms are the full understanding.
  • Severability: Invalid provisions do not affect others.
  • No waiver: Our delay in enforcing rights does not waive them.
